Sam and Penn on the Rocket Ride
It was a cold but sunny day, which was ideal. However, it is currently school holidays in France so the place was packed. We had decided beforehand to choose a few attractions from Adventure land, Fantasy Land and Discovery Land. It was the latter that Sam was most taken with. There was a rocket ship ride Sam was keen on.
In the end we did five attractions - Autopia (cars we drove round a track);
Rocket ship (2 people per rocket flying in a circle); Giant tea cups (They spin round); It's a Small World (Little boats that take you through a land of large dolls dressed in cultural costumes from different nations); and Buzz Lightyear (you sit in a car and shoot aliens with a laser). We must have queued at least and hour for all but the boat ride. The kids were pretty patient, but Sam found it hard to stay with

Typically, the thing that took their fancy most was the Pirates Cove play area, where they could run around on a pirate ship, search through caves, and cross rickety rope bridges. They spent quite a while here with me while Todd satisfied his need for a thrill ride by going on the Indiana Jones attraction.
The Tea Cup Ride
It was a long, but fun day. The kids slept well that night.
The cost was outrageous and there is no way we got our money's worth, but the kids loved it.

Penn,
Ignore Mum's comments. I only said I suppose you are having a mind-expanding time.( or a mind wearying time, if 'wearying' is a word! )
Its good to see the pictures. Did the snails pick up their pace for fear of being eaten?
I'm glad the kids enjoyed Disneyland. Have you seen any snow as yet. or is it too early?
Love,
Don, Dad. Pa
PS give the little sweeties / monsters a big hug from both of us.
Penn & Todd,
Is that a Henry II, III or V hair cut Sam is sporting?
( My medieval history isn't too good )
An appropriate hair style for visiting France?
Dad
