Todd being Todd, you might have got the impression we are not happy to be in Paris. In between the tribulations there have been some magic moments.
- The kindness of a lovely lady from the Cours de Vincennes market who chased us down the road just to give us some beautiful cherry tomatoes for the 'enfants'.
- The Tour Eiffel shrouded in clouds at it's tip, but with glimpses of Paris from above that were well worth the money and the queues.
- The magnificent array of produce from various regions in France, including our favourite Morbier cheese, breads and cakes, meats (which Todd of course did not appreciate), wines, and fruit and vegetables.
There have been unexpected times of wry humour, such as the street on the way to the Eiffel Tower called "Avenue de Suffren". At times with the kids we had felt we were on that avenue.
Paris is absolutely beautiful in rain or sun (not that we've seen much of that).
Au Revoir until the next post. Penn

At last I have gotten Google onto ourPC and have read your very interesting journal. Encouragement to make the most of your explorations. The difficulties somehow become the best memories, and the photos will last for many years. Do take time to annotate the photos, or if not you may wonder some time in the future just when was that, where, who? That's the granddad in me giving advice. Hope you all have a really wonderful time with great adventures.
Love, Granddad and Gayle.
Hello Jones's! So good to see that you have arrived safely and are exploring Parie! Thinking of you all and wishing we could be with you.
Jealous Aunty Cathy.
Hello Jones family. Sounds like you are having a fun time. Keep the photos coming.
Boring Uncle Joel.
Greetings Jones', Glad to see you made it to Paris.
Thinking of you all with increasing envy.
I was watching the French news on SBS but didn't understand a word. There seems to be concern about unemployment in the Champagne region.
I don't know if it will get o you, but while watching the Spanish news, the weather report seemed to indicate either snow or rain over the entire country, with the accompanying cloud band moving north east across the continent.
